Devoted husband and patient father of two teenagers.
Sound like a Boy Scout? He is. In all the years we’ve known him at J.W. Morton, there was a single day in '93 that Scott wasn’t cheerful! He was back to smiling the next day and never looked back. He is the first J.W. Morton employee to stick with it long enough to earn a company car. It’s always spotless, not unlike Scott.
His idea of a daily power lunch is biking 20 miles on a county road at 20 miles an hour, climbing a thousand feet of hills and drafting in a peleton (whatever that is). And he has the nerve to claim he’s in good shape.
Three things that drive him crazy are:
1. Exploding yogurt lids
2. Too many e-mails
3. Greed & Jealousy (Isn't that four things?)
His philosophical approach to work is
simple and effective:
“Be nice to people. Listen to them. Give them your best. Enjoy the relationship.”
Scott plays well with others and is always prepared. And of course cheerful.
