Devoted husband, father of four.
A sculptor at heart, a woodworker at home, Jeff would rather be on his feet than sitting at a computer. The further a project gets from 8 1/2 x 11, the happier he is. Designing and producing several museums in the last few years has put him back in touch with his third dimension. With a driveway 120 feet straight up he braves the Iowa winters in a Jeep Grand Cherokee – red of course.
Jeff’s had his ’54 Chevy Bel Air since 1976, his wife Pam since 1981 and his business partner Dave since 1984. He says, “Pam and Dave are in much better condition than the car at this point, but as soon as the kids’ college and weddings are paid for, I’m going to get to fixing up my Chevy.”
Three things that drive him crazy:
1. Poor craftsmanship or presentation
at any level
2. Fast food that isn't
3. Big egos
His philosophical approach to business
is two-pronged:
"Surround yourself with talented people and then allow them to do their job."
"Don't involve the agency in anything that would cause a brother to stumble."
Jeff wears the jeans. Oversees a creative staff that doesn’t need much oversight.
Song of choice: “Taxi” (Harry Chapin)
or “Barracuda” (Heart)
